Original Act. Lot of ground with buildings and improvements thereon in 2nd District, Square bounded by St. Philip, Levee, Main and Conde streets, designated as lot "No. 21" on a plan drawn by L. Surgi, Surveyor, November 12, 1848, and deposited as plan No. 148, in the office of T. Guyol, N.P., said lot is of an irregular form and measures: 24' 11" 4''' front on St. Philip St., between Levee and Conde streets, 58' 5" in depth on the side line towards Levee St., to a point at the rear of the main building, from whence the said side line runs about 17' in an oblique direction towards Conde St., until it reaches the front wall of the rear building and from thence 53' 11" 4''' until it intersects the rear line of said lot, 68' 8" in depth on the side line towards Conde St., thence on a line parallel with St. Philip St., and running towards Conde St., 19' 0" 4''' to the rear line of Lot No. 3 of said plan, and from thence on a line parallel with Conde St., 64' to the rear line of said lot No. 21, which said rear line measures 5' 9" 5''' commencing from the rear corner towards Levee St., thence running it right angles towards Main St., 3' 6" 4''' and from thence on a line parallel with St. Philip St., 29' 2" 3''', all American measure.

This said lot forms part of the property purchased by the vendor from the Succession of Dominique Bouligny in 1848.

Widow Noye, and by that of Joseph de Fuente, and on the other by that of Mr. Urtubise; the said site measures 120' 9" front, of which the 60' on the side of the property of Mr. Urtubise have a depth of 121', and the 70' 9" on the side of the property of the Widow Noye have a depth 62'. This sale was made by virtue of a Judgment of the Parish Court, July 13, 1816, in the case of Mme. Bouligny against Mlle. Le Blanc, et al.

Inventory filed June 22, 1816. Appraised at $3000. The Inventory does not give any record of a prior acquisition, and the Conveyance Office Records began in the year 1827, therefore no further acquisitions are available.
