Old rating: main and service -- yellow with green stripes; new rating: green. This classic Creole style townhouse was constructed c. 1830 along with the adjacent building at 519 Madison. The front building had a half story extended into a full third story in the late 19th century. The detached 2-story kitchen across the rear property line has had a number of alterations, including removal of the original openings and the courtyard balcony.

Henry Zimmer vs. Nicholas J. Persich, et al. Henry Zimmer, the petitioner is the holder of a promissory note made and subscribed by Mrs. Annie Carevich wife of Nicholas J. Persich, with the authorization of her husband, dated Oct. 24, 1928, for the sum of $600 payable in 1 year with interest at 7%. Mrs. Persich paid all the interest on the said note from Oct. 24, 1928 to and including Oct. 24, 1930, Nicholas J. Persich died on May 6, 1931 and Mrs. Persich paid the interest on said note from Oct. 24, 1930 to Oct. 24, 1931. She died on Aug. 5, 1932 and the interest on the note due Oct. 24, 1932, was paid by John Nicholas and Joseph Persich, children of the deceased. No successions having been opened for either Nicholas J. Persich or Mrs. Annie Carevich his wife the said petitioner therefore proceeds to foreclosure.
