Vieux Carré Commission Evaluation:
Proposed change -- yellow with green stripes to pink. Greatly altered 3-story masonry Transitional style building (c. 1830) with second floor balcony. The original ground floor arched openings have been shortened and the third floor openings have been insensitively altered. The second floor configuration of two doors flanked by two shorter windows could be original, since such fenestration is documented for a number of c. 1830 buildings.
