630 Bourbon St.

Vieux Carré Commission Evaluation:

Yellow with green stripes to green. As shown on the Sanborn Map of 1876, 630 Bourbon and its neighbor at 632 Bourbon were originally 1-story masonry cottages with 2-story rear structures. By 1896 an additional story had been added to each structure. Thus although it has undergone changes since its construction, 630 Bourbon contains the skeleton of an early (1830?) building type.
