This property was sold after a court order in the suit entitled Brice Sembre vs. His Creditors.
Edward Courribet acted as Syndic of Creditors. The lot sold is a subdivision of certain property acquired by Brice Sembre and Sebastian Fornaris, from H. P. Livermore by an act before Octave de Armas, N. P. March 23, 1878.
The lot is situated on St. Louis Street between Bourbon and Dauphine streets measuring 30' 6" front on St. Louis Street 51' on side line nearest Dauphine Street thence widening at right angle toward Dauphine Street 2' 1" and having there from a further depth of 79' 8" and measuring in depth 130' 7" 4''' on the line nearest Bourbon Street and having a width of 32' 7" in rear all A.M.
The improvements consist of the handsome two-story with attic brick dwelling house known as No. 95 St. Louis Street, having on the lower floor hall and three rooms; three rooms, cabinet and hall on the second floor and two rooms in the attic; two-story kitchen building attached to the main house having four rooms and cabinet on each story, water closets to each story, bricked yard, water works, etc.

Another house in the courtyard bricked between posts composed of two apartments of which one has a fireplace, a gallery and two cabinets on the gallery. Two kitchens of clay between posts covered in pickets, wells, latrines.
