However, a month after purchase the rear of this large lot was sold to the Merchants Mutual Insurance Company to even out the side line of the French Opera site. Portion of ground measuring 63' 7" 4''' by 31' 5" 4''' taken from the rear of Lots No. 18705 and 18704. Property designated by the letter X on plan by J. A. d'Hemecourt, dated April 9, 1878, annexed to this act.

Two kitchens of clay between posts covered in pickets, wells, latrines. Lot bounded on one side by Mr. Fournier and on the other side by Mlle. Mony [sic: Demony or Dumony].
