925 Toulouse Street. Valentine and Virginie Avegno were the children of Anatole Placide Avegno who died in this city on April 18, 1862, leaving them as his sole heirs. His succession was opened in the Second District Court in May 1862. The minor Valentine Avegno, died in this city aged about 6 years, on March 11, 1866, and her mother and sister were placed in possession (of the particular property researched in this chain, which the minors had purchased from George Binder) by judgment of the Second District Court, dated May 3, 1866 (1/8 interest to her mother and 7/8 to her sister). This affair was later transferred to the Civil District Court No. 1664 and the judgment was upheld.
