925 Toulouse Street. Judgment. The last will and testament of Mrs. Louise Chapuis, widow by first marriage of Alexandre M. Mir and wife of Price E. Howard, was given to Alexis Brian, N.P., Feb. 13, 1909 and her husband was named testamentary executor and universal legatee. By this judgment he was placed in possession of this lot and other property left by his deceased wife.

925 Toulouse Street. Valentine and Virginie Avegno were the children of Anatole Placide Avegno who died in this city on April 18, 1862, leaving them as his sole heirs. His succession was opened in the Second District Court in May 1862. The minor Valentine Avegno, died in this city aged about 6 years, on March 11, 1866, and her mother and sister were placed in possession (of the particular property researched in this chain, which the minors had purchased from George Binder) by judgment of the Second District Court, dated May 3, 1866 (1/8 interest to her mother and 7/8 to her sister). This affair was later transferred to the Civil District Court No. 1664 and the judgment was upheld.

The house and lot were acquired by the vendors by an exchange with Joseph Bizot by an inscription in these Archives about fourteen or fifteen years ago and was given in exchange for a lot belonging to the Succession of the father of the herein above named Pedro Ternier. Louis Fonteneau, acting for Widow Duranton, mother and tutor of Pedro Ternier, her legitimate son by her first marriage.
