From her husband. Note: This lot was part of the square which formed the ancient cemetery of the city. A plan by Carlos Laveau Trudeau, General Surveyor under the Spanish Government, June 1801, shows this square divided into twelve lots, designated by Nos. 1 to 12 and the anmes of the persons who purchased these lots from the Municipality of New Orleans. The original plan is located in the archives of Pierre Pedesclaux, Notary, in a file entitled "Diligencias practicadas para el remate del antiguo cementerio" No. 323, year 1800. A copy of this plan is attached to an act of T. Seghers, dated December 1, 1835 - Vol. 13/700. This plan was thus made in the year 1800 for the sale which was ordered by the Spanish Government to the profit of the Municipality of New Orleans, and which was held the 19 August 1801, at the time the cemetery was transferred elsewhere. Pierre Seuzeneau acquired this lot which has been formed with Lot No. 8 on the above mentioned plan.
