Vieux Carré Commission Evaluation:

Main -- yellow with green stripes; service building -- green : to : main -- yellow; service building -- green. Originally, this c. 1839, single, long brick cottage was approximately 3' lower in height than it is today. A massive c. 1880 renovation, which included a roof change and a possible raising in height transformed the early cottage into a late 19th-century single shotgun.
