Specs. dated June 15, 1859 attached. $8750.00 "The front and North western flank wall and all the present floors in the main building shall be taken down and removed, also such other impediments now in the way of the new additions & alterations. The present main roof to be shored up and well supported." MOB 74/8. "New walls of main building & wing & new walls of rear building. New mahogany stairs - elliptical arch bet. parlors - plaster cornices. Verandah over banquette on cast iron columns - Iron gate in front garden wall."

Original Act: 37/128 "Two lots of ground, the first measuring 27' 7" 7''' front on Esplanade Avenue by 116' 6" 6''' in depth, more or less, the second lot adjoining, measuring 27' 7" 7''' front on Esplanade Avenue by 113' in depth, more or less."

Original Act: 18/297 "A lot of ground situated in the square bounded by Esplanade, Chartres, Barracks and Royal streets, being a part of lots Nos. 6 and 7, designated by the No. 1 on a plan drawn by J. A. Pueyo, dated July 24, 1844, filed by F. Percy, Notary, in Notarial Archives, Book of Plans 22/32, measuring 55' 3" 2''' front on Esplanade Avenue by 113' 4" 6''' in depth on the side nearest Chartres Street, 116' 6" 6''' in depth on the side nearest Royal Street, 57' 4" 7''' width in the rear."

"A lot of ground situated at the corner of Chartres and Esplanade streets, composed of part of lot No. 6 and of lot No. 7, measuring more or less 111' 6" front on Esplanade by 102' in depth and front on Chartres, 109' in depth on the side adjoining the property of Mr. Goldenbow and on the depth 112' 4" on the line parting from Chartres Street, separating lot belonging to Mme. Bertrand, together with all the buildings thereon." From Antoine Mourlot the following: "The rest of Lot No. 6 having 62' front on Esplanade (Promenade Publique), 101' in depth and fronting Chartres Street and 105' alongside Lot No. 7, which is vacant (Lot 6) with the exception of a small cabin (une petite chambre) and a frame stable (une écurie en bois)."

"A lot of ground having 33' 8" front on Chartres Street by a depth of 62' and 37' 10" long at the depth, it being part of the Lot designated by the No. 6 on plan by Jacques Tanesse, City Surveyor, dated September 10, 1810."

"A lot of ground designated as No. 6 having 62' front on Esplanade Avenue by 101' in depth and fronting Chartres Street, and 105' in the direction of Lot No. 7, forming the corner of Esplanade and Chartres, conforming to plan by Jacques Tanesse, City Surveyor, dated September 10, 1810, one copy of which is in the files of the City Council and the other in those of the undersigned Notary (no plan annexed)."
