Square: 52 Lot Number: 22815-30
No change: green. One of three, 3-story common-wall brick townhouses constructed in 1834 for Henry R. Dennis, this building was revamped inside and out in 1859 -- according to a contract between builder Elijah Cox and owner, notary public Edward Barnett -- in the lavish late Classical taste. This contract included the addition of cast iron galleries and the great side bay.
