A plan book drawing from 1840 shows the original c. 1830-1835-design of this 3½-story, masonry townhouse, which included a cathedral pattern, wrought-iron balcony, second floor French doors with Federal-style, geometric transoms, third floor double-hung windows above wooden panels, a round-headed, Federal dormer and a pair of six-paneled carriageway gates on the Esplanade side. [N.B: All brown-rated structures have since been demolished.]
